There is an extensive river system which include the River Blackwater, (the third largest river in Ireland), the Funshion, Araglin & Bride. The River Blackwater has the finest fishing stretches in Ireland for salmon. The Funshion, Araglin and Bride are best for Trout fishing. Unlike salmon and trout fishing, coarse fishing isn’t seasonal and so Knockanannig Reservoir in Fermoy is an all year must!
