Glensheskin Woods (Coillte Ghleann Sheiscín)

Sunday 5th September at 2.30pm

A talk and display of the natural heritage and habitats of Glensheskin Woods, as part of the official launch of the Natural Heritage Signage situated along the Blackwater Way (long distance walking route).

There is no entrance fee
Bartlemy (Tobar Phartalain)

Monday 6th Septmeber at 7.30pm

A talk on ancient parish and cemetery of Gortroe. The meeting point is at the Gortroe Cemetery between Rathcormac and Bartlemy.

There is no entrance fee.
Grenagh (An Grianach)

Monday 6th September at 8.00pm

A talk on local heritage of Grenagh. Meeting place at Grenagh Cemetery.

There is no entrance fee.
Castlyons (Caisleán Uí Liatháin)

Tuesday 7th September at 8.00pm

Lecture onn the 18th and 19th Century buildings of Castlelyons and the surrounding area. This takes place at Castlelyons Community Centre and wil be given by Mary Sleeman.

There is a charge of 5 euro
Kilworth (Cill Úird)

Saturday 11th September at 7.00pm

A guided tour of Kilworth Village and presentation on local heritage. The meeting place is at the Village Arts Centre

There is a chagre of 5 euro
Millstreet Country Park (Pairc Dúlra Sráid an Mhuilin)

Sunday 12th September at 2.30pm

The official launch of the Natural Heritage Interpretive Signage situated along the Blackwater Long Distance Walking Route (Duhallow Way). The meeting place is at Millstreet Country Park

There is no charge.
Glenville (Gleann na Preachain)

Sunday 12th September at 2.30pm

A guided walk and launch of the Local Heritage Interpretive Panel for Glenville. The meeting point is at Carrig an Aifrinn Glenville.
