Blackwater Holidays (the Blackwater Valley tourism marketing group) were delighted that the Minister for Tourism John O' Donoghue, launched the Blackwater Holidays Brochure.

The glossy DL Blackwater Valley tourism brochure produced by Blackwater Holidays and grant aided by Blackwater Resource Development, portrays picturesquely the beautiful valley that the River Blackwater flows through.  The Blackwater Valley is rich in natural heritage and resources and as the brochure states “It’s a place with a different pace”.

The Blackwater Valley broadly represents the towns and hinterlands of Blarney, Mallow, Fermoy and Lismore. The area is rich in natural heritage, with a distinctive culture in the shape of its people, music and landscape. Whether it’s fishing, walking, horse-riding, golfing or exploring the heritage sites and wandering through a secret garden, the Blackwater Valley is the place to be.

The Blackwater Valley also boasts a wide range of accommodation including Bed and Breakfasts, Self- Catering, Caravan and Camping and Historic Country Homes and Hotels.

Blackwater Holidays would also like to thank Blackwater Resource Development for their financial assistance and support.

All brochures are available at your local tourist office or alternatively ring Blackwater Holidays, 24 hour central reservations number 025 82222 or Blackwater Resource Developments
